My mother passed away last year and none of us in the family had any idea what to do with her estate. We came to Maradok Trust not knowing what questions to even ask. The consultation was calm and they explained everything clearly. The written summary they gave us afterward helped enormously — we referred back to it several times over the following weeks.

My father lived in Thailand for twenty years before he passed, and navigating a Thai estate as a family based partly overseas was daunting. Natalie made the English-language side of things feel genuinely manageable. They were patient with our pace and answered every question, even when we circled back to the same ones. The fee was what they said it would be, which I particularly appreciated.

There was a disagreement between myself and my brother about our father's estate. I was not sure it was worth getting legal help but a friend recommended Maradok Trust. They assessed the situation carefully before suggesting representation — they were honest that the matter might resolve without going further, which I respected. In the end it did require more formal steps, and they handled everything properly.

I came to the first meeting with a folder of papers and very little understanding of what any of them meant. Kornwipa went through each one with me and explained things clearly, without making me feel foolish for not knowing. The process took a couple of months, but they kept me updated throughout. It was a difficult time, and they handled it with appropriate care.

I needed an overview of my wife's estate after she passed — she was Thai and the estate was here in Chiang Mai. Maradok Trust helped me understand what steps were required and what documents I needed to gather. The consultation was in English throughout, which was essential for me. The written summary they sent was particularly useful to share with family members who were following the situation from overseas.

We had a situation where the will our grandmother left was unclear in one section, and relatives had different interpretations of what she intended. Maradok Trust reviewed the document carefully and gave us a considered view without immediately pushing us toward a dispute process. That approach helped the family step back and reach an agreement ourselves. We were grateful they did not make things bigger than they needed to be.

CASE STUDY 01 · Estate Overview & Will Support
CHALLENGE
A family of four siblings in Chiang Mai had not agreed on how to approach their father's estate after his passing. One sibling had a copy of a will, but others questioned whether it was the most recent version. The family had not spoken to any legal professional and were uncertain where to start.
SOLUTION
An Estate Overview Consultation was arranged, attended by three of the four siblings. The will was reviewed alongside available asset records. Maradok Trust provided a written summary distinguishing the formal legal questions from the practical steps, and helped the family agree on a shared understanding of the situation before deciding next steps.
OUTCOME
The family proceeded with Will and Records Support, which organized the estate documents and confirmed the will's standing. The matter was resolved within approximately eight weeks without any formal dispute proceeding. All four siblings received a copy of the final summary.
Timeline: ~8 weeks
"We came in as four people with four different views. We left with a shared understanding. That felt like real progress." — N.P., Chiang Mai
CASE STUDY 02 · Estate Matter Representation
CHALLENGE
A contested estate matter had arisen between a widow and her late husband's adult children from a prior relationship. The parties were unable to agree on the distribution of a property in the Suthep area. The widow sought representation but was uncertain whether the matter would require court proceedings.
SOLUTION
Maradok Trust conducted an initial case assessment and reviewed all available documents, including the will and property records. A clear explanation of the legal position was prepared for the client. Formal representation was arranged. All document handling was managed by Maradok Trust, reducing the burden on the client throughout proceedings.
OUTCOME
The matter was resolved through court mediation after approximately four months. The client received the outcome that the will supported, and all parties accepted the determination. The client reported that the process, while stressful, was made more manageable by consistent communication and honest guidance throughout.
Timeline: ~4 months
"I always knew what was happening and why. That made an enormous difference during a very hard period." — S.B., Chiang Mai
